Dorian Pearce, a community leader and visionary business owner, blends his passion for business, the arts, and dance education. His leadership at Kitchissippi Productions, commitment to community arts, and dedication as a dance instructor reflects his diverse impact and passion for fostering community engagement and well-being here in the Ottawa Valley.

Community Leader

Dorian cares deeply about our community.  His dedication was evident in his run for Pembroke City Council in 2022, where he narrowly missed election by a small margin.

Since 2020, Dorian has been helping the local Kiwanis Club of Pembroke in raising funds for their annual Christmas Toy & Food Drive, though the organization of a annual Telethon. This event puts the spotlight on community though interviews with important community organizations and by showcasing the amazing talent located here in the Ottawa Valley.

From 2020 to 2023, Dorian served as a director of Ottawa Valley Community Arts, an organization devoted to integrating various creative arts into the lives of individuals and communities in the Ottawa Valley.

Dorian is a founding member and former chair of the City of Pembroke's Climate Action Advisory Committee, focusing on addressing climate change at a municipal level. 

Additionally, Dorian's political engagement is notable in his management of Kurt Stoll's election campaign for the NDP in 2022 and as the lead Volunteer Coordinator for Jodie Primeau's NDP campaign in 2021. Both campaigns achieved unprecedented results for the NDP in the region.

Dorian is the owner and founder of Kitchissippi Productions, a visionary event services & production company that works with ambitious community-driven organizations to bring back the magic to gatherings, meetings, events, and entertainment. 

Kitchissippi Productions offers a wide variety of services from event coordination and venue management to innovative virtual and hybrid event solutions.

Dance Instructor

Dorian has been a dance instructor in Pembroke since 2016 and brings over 13 years of competitive dance experience to the table. He is currently an instructor at both Lift Acro Evolution in Pembroke and Starz in Motion in Petawawa. He's competed across Ontario and Quebec, racking up numerous overall wins, judges' choice awards, high scores, and scholarships.

Starting his dance journey at 4 years old, Dorian has successfully completed various exams in Ballet (RAD), Tap (ADAPT), and Jazz (ADAPT). In 2014, he finished the ADAPT Assistant Teacher Program, and by 2020, he completed the three-year ADAPT Syllabus Teacher's Training Program. As a result, Dorian is a fully certified ADAPT dance teacher. In 2021, he added Alixa Flexibility Module 1 to his credentials.

Passionate about dance and the performing arts, Dorian sets a high bar for both himself and his students. He's committed to ongoing education and skill development. Many of his students have also excelled in their own exams, earning high marks. Dorian looks forward to many more years of teaching, training, and performing in the dance community.
